DEVOTIONAL:

January 1^st ushers in a brand-new year. We make resolutions about our health, our finances, and every other area where we feel we need to get a fresh start. Have you thought about your soul…Are you a new person on the inside? Here’s what God’s Word says about becoming new:

“For if a man is in Christ he becomes a new person altogether—the past is finished and gone, everything has become fresh and new. All this is God’s doing, for he has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ; and he has made us agents of the reconciliation. God was in Christ personally reconciling the world to himself—not counting their sins against them—and has commissioned us with the message of reconciliation. We are now Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were appealing direct to you through us. As his personal representatives we say, “Make your peace with God.” For God caused Christ, who himself knew nothing of sin, actually to be sin for our sakes, so that in Christ we might be made good with the goodness of God.” 2 Corinthians 17–21 PHILLIPS)

If you don’t have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, there’s no better time to receive Christ as your Savior and Lord. If you are already born again, you are an ambassador of God’s kingdom and you’ve been called to be His representative, leading others to salvation and a new life in Jesus Christ.

Dear God, I thank You for forgiving me through Your Son Jesus, who paid the price for my sin so that I could become a new person in Him. As we enter into 2022, I invite Your Holy Spirit to teach me, empower me, and use me to bring others into Your kingdom. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.(Luke 2:14)

DEVOTIONAL:

As we celebrate the birth of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, let’s remember that He is the Prince of Peace described in the book of Isaiah. Though the world seeks peace amidst the hatred, strife, and ideologies that divide us, people are volatile, ready to erupt in anger at a moment’s notice and commit horrible atrocities. Medication, psychology, prison…None of these worldly “answers” work. 

God made a way for mankind to be forgiven and to return to Him. The angels heralded the first coming of the Savior—the only One who can truly bring lasting peace to this troubled world, and to each individual life, “And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14). 

Soon, Jesus will come and set things right. The injustices, division and violence that now plague our fallen world will be no more, for Christ will establish His kingdom and uphold it with justice and righteousness when He comes, and He will reign forever.

This Christmas, let’s fervently pray for those who are hurting and seeking answers, and point them to the Savior who died for them that they could be reconciled to God and fulfill the glorious destiny He has planned for them. 

PRAYER:

Father, I thank You for sending Jesus to the earth as a newborn babe, born of a virgin. I give You glory as the angels sang that night so long ago. I thank You, most of all, that Jesus paid the ultimate price for my sins, so that I can be forgiven and spend eternity with You. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

DEVOTIONAL:

There is a door that we must open for God’s blessings, and that door is opened through giving of tithes and offerings. When you give tithes and offerings with the right attitude, you unlock the flood gates of heaven and it pours out healing, deliverance, peace, and floods of glory. 

Tithing is based on a law called the law of sowing and reaping. God has planned for us as Christians to reap certain benefits in this earth, and He must be involved for it to happen. When we fail to give our tithes, the hand of God is withheld from blessing His children. Then the curse that is already in the earth can have its effect in our lives. 

Think of the curse in the earth as rain, and when you are obedient to the Word of God, it’s like having an umbrella. Although it is still raining, you don’t get wet because your umbrella gives you protection. Through the tithe, God establishes an umbrella in your life. Children of God can actually rob Him from the opportunity of protecting and blessing them and their households by holding back the tithe. 

PRAYER:

Dear Father, I praise You for all the blessings You’ve poured out in my life. I am grateful that because I am a tither and a giver, You protect me in every area of life—my health, family, finances, job and ministry. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

“Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts. (Malachi 3:7 AMP)

DEVOTIONAL:

Let’s look at Malachi, chapter three, to which many people refer when teaching on tithing. Tithing in this chapter is unique because it takes you both ways; it takes you back to the Old Testament, and also points you to the New Testament. Let’s look at verses 6–9 in the Amplified Bible:

 “For I am the Lord, I do not change [but remain faithful to My covenant with you]; that is why you, O sons of Jacob, have not come to an end. “Yet from the days of your fathers you have turned away from My statutes and ordinances and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts. “But you say, ‘How shall we return?’ “Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings [you have withheld]. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, this whole nation! Malachi 3:6–9 AMP

Here God is speaking about the tithe through the prophet Malachi. The people of God had forsaken the commandment to give the tithe from their increase according to Leviticus. Here in Malachi, God was allowing them to cancel all back tithes and start anew, to return to Him with their best. He also explains that the tithe opens the way for the children of Israel to return to God.

PRAYER:

Dear God, Thank you for your great mercy to me for the times I’ve ignored or disobeyed your instructions in my life. I repent, and I purpose to be faithful and obey you in the future and will reap the rewards of obedience. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

DEVOTIONAL:

So what am I saying this month as we’ve studied “seeding for the billion flow”? Commit to letting God use you to finance this end-time harvest. To be a distribution center for the kingdom, and have the world witness the success of the body of Christ and be drawn into it. God wants to take the wealth of the sinner and bring it over into our hands. Are you ready? As one man said, “Can you stand to be blessed!”

This kind of wealth is not “just for us four and no more,” or to be put away in banks and never used. No. It’s supposed to flow; that’s why we call it currency. It’s the “Billion Flow.” We should be thinking about how we can help people in India or Africa or Haiti; how we can put up entrepreneurial centers, hospitals, and orphanages, and how we can get food and dig wells in drought-stricken areas of the world. You get the idea? 

The Bible says, “You are heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ.” This means God sees us as His “royal family.” You must see yourself the same way if you want to receive the inheritance He has for you.

So, whether a billion souls or a billion dollars, start thinking big so the Big God we serve can do big things—in you and through you!

PRAYER:

Dear God, open my spiritual eyes and understanding to do my part to bring a harvest of souls into Your Kingdom. Thank you for Your many blessings in my life. Help me to use the talents and resources You’ve given me with wisdom, generosity and compassion toward others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

DEVOTIONAL:

God is speaking to the Church to get us out of our comfort zone. He desires to take us beyond what we can think and do in our own natural ability into something only He can do. I believe almost every person in the body of Christ can think “millionaire” and how it could possibly happen to them. They might envision winning a sweepstakes, or being on a television show like “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.”

In other words, lots of people, even those not born again, believe that they could one day get “lucky.” That it is possible for them to win something big in their lifetime. That’s why the lotto is so popular. People who don’t know God think to become a millionaire is somehow remotely possible. But to be a billionaire? No way! Even in the Church, your chances of finding someone who feels they can ever reach billionaire status in their lifetime is way beyond what they will even attempt to think.

Realize, however, billions is what it is going to take to complete the work the Lord has sent us into the world to do. The people of God not only have the right to it, but the responsibility to possess it with a passion and commitment that won’t stop until the job gets done! 

PRAYER:

Dear God, I desire to be faithful to do the work You’ve called me to do in this season. Thank you for giving me the passion and commitment to fulfill Your plan with excellence and joy. I believe I receive every resource and financial blessing that is needed to complete the job. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

We are “Seeding for the Billion Flow.” Some people may be even having a hard time getting that out of their mouths. Not million, billion! Can you say it? Come on, say it out loud now! “I’m Seeding for the Billion Flow!”

The enemy doesn’t like it when you start thinking that big because now you’re thinking like God, and starting to be the devil’s worst nightmare. He fights to keep you and me from moving up to this higher level. He tries to contain us, to quarantine us, and to frighten us—anything to keep us from moving up. He tries to keep us busy with lots of activity, but with no real results or progress, like a man running on a treadmill, running in place. I remember when I was in sales in the business world. My boss at the computer company I worked for used to say, “Bill, don’t ever confuse activity with results.”

My friend, are you seeding for the billion flow? Look again at this week’s scripture verse where it says, “…for the same Lord is rich to all who call upon Him.” Another translation puts it this way, “…He generously bestows His riches upon all who call upon Him [in faith].” (AMPC)

PRAYER:

Dear God, thank you for increasing my faith and raising the level of my thinking to believe “exceeding abundantly above all that I can ask or think,” according to your promise in Ephesians 3:20. I receive it now and give You praise for all that You have planned for me to be, to do, and to possess. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

DEVOTIONAL:

The world shall see the greatest manifestation of “heaven on earth” since the Garden of Eden. The transfer is here, both people and property, as the Church takes control of the money supply. Catch this vision, the Gospel of the Kingdom being preached to all the nations of the earth, and a billion souls coming into the Kingdom of God. Glory to God!

I’m talking about the Billion Flow. I call it “Covenant Prosperity.” Prosperity is not just about money and material things. But it includes prospering spiritually (born again), physically (healing and health), and socially (God making your name great), and in every area affecting our lives.

There are many examples in the Bible where God transferred wealth into the hands of His people to “establish His Covenant” on the earth. God is a covenant-keeping God (Psalm 89:34). 

Has God called you to do something that seems impossible? Trust Him today to provide all that you need to accomplish it!

PRAYER:

Dear God, You called me to do    (name what He’s called you to do.)    . Now, I’m asking You for every provision—wisdom, anointing, favor, open doors, and the financial resources that are necessary to complete my assignment. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. (Proverbs 22:7)

DEVOTIONAL:

God put the Church in this earth to take dominion or to take back the rulership of it. We are the fulfillment of Genesis 1:26 and 28 to “take dominion over all the earth.” This includes the wealth of the earth. We must have the money!

This week’s scripture verse says, “the rich rule over the poor.” Did you get that? It is impossible for us to have rulership in this human system without financial empowerment. God planned for His kingdom citizens to rule this planet and change this world for the better, and we’re going to have to have financial power to do it.

It is time for the government of God to fill the earth, described in Daniel, chapter two. There is no way the Church will leave this earth broke, in debt, and Christianity being an object of contempt. No! 

If you are a born-again believer, you are a part of the Church. Are you ready to receive the finances and resources you need to fulfill your God-ordained assignment and destiny?

PRAYER:

Dear God, Thank you for Your financial provision and resources to fulfill every assignment You have given me for such a time as this. Send me, Lord! I want to take my place of dominion in the earth and share the gospel of Your kingdom with lost and hurting people. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

DEVOTIONAL:

Do you want to be wise? Proverbs 11:30 says, “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” He that wins souls is wise! You are the righteous in Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ was the greatest Soul-Winner ever. He was always “about His Father’s business.” And you can be, too. 

For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. Ephesians 2:10 AMPC

What greater “good works” are there, but to set a person free from the works of the devil and to populate heaven by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ? There’s no greater joy than to see a lost, hurting soul come into the Kingdom of God. Even the angels in heaven rejoice, “That’s the way God responds every time one lost sinner repents and turns to him. He says to all his angels, ‘Let’s have a joyous celebration, for that one who was lost I have found!’” (Luke 15:10 TPT).

PRAYER:

Father, thank you for my own salvation and for using me for such a time as this to bring the glorious news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to lost and hurting souls. I rejoice with You and all of Heaven! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
