SCRIPTURE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blessed\u00a0is\u00a0the man that trusteth in the\u00a0Lord, and whose hope the\u00a0Lord\u00a0is.(Jeremiah 17:5\u20138)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEVOTIONAL:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ever feel like Jeremiah, the weeping prophet, whose prayers for Israel seemed to be of no avail? Or David, when he felt that God had abandoned him? All of us experience times when that connection between heaven and earth is woefully silent! Fret not. God rewards the life of a living sacrifice. Press in, stay faithful, ask for wisdom, repent if necessary, stay in faith, resist the devil, and receive your breakthrough!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s what God says about trusting in Him in Jeremiah, chapter 17:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Thus saith the\u00a0Lord; Cursed\u00a0be<\/em>\u00a0the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the\u00a0Lord.\u00a06\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,\u00a0in<\/em>\u00a0a salt land and not inhabited. Blessed\u00a0is<\/em>\u00a0the man that trusteth in the\u00a0Lord, and whose hope the\u00a0Lord\u00a0is\u00a08\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and\u00a0that<\/em>\u00a0spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. Verses 5\u20138.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRAYER:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear God, I praise You when I am being blessed and I praise You during the dry times in my life. I am trusting that You are always with me and working in my behalf even when I may not always see or understand. In Jesus\u2019 Name, I pray. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
