SCRIPTURE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.\u00a0(Matthew 11:12<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEVOTIONAL:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I tell people all the time, don\u2019t let the devil give you anything, because if he ever gives it to you he can take it back at will, or he can control you with it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bible says that those in the Kingdom of God take what they want by force\u2026 the force of faith. \u201cAnd from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force\u201d (Matthew 11:12). So, we take it. We don\u2019t compromise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Someone might ask, \u201cWell, how do I take it?\u201d Part of the answer is found in Mark 3:27, \u201cNo man can enter into a strong man\u2019s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.\u201d Another translation says \u201cplunder\u201d his house. This means that to displace the devil and the kingdom of darkness, you first have to bind the strong man. And when you do, you are going to take everything he\u2019s got.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRAYER:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear God, I thank You for empowering me with the boldness to take the Kingdom of God\u2014all that You have planned for me to be, to do, and to have\u2014with the force of faith. I bind the devil in Jesus\u2019 Name, and displace him and his kingdom of darkness. In Jesus\u2019 Name, I pray. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
