SCRIPTURE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and hath raised\u00a0us<\/em>\u00a0up together, and made\u00a0us<\/em>\u00a0sit together in heavenly\u00a0places<\/em>\u00a0in Christ Jesus:\u00a0(Ephesians 2:6)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEVOTIONAL:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone in the world was once in the category of disobedient people under the control of demon spirits. However, by grace, God has \u201craised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First John 5:19 says, \u201cAnd<\/em> we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.\u201d Everyone in the world who has not been born into the Kingdom of God is under the deception of satan, whom Revelation 12: 9 refers to as \u201cthat old serpent called the devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world.\u201d Satan deceived all of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Jesus died, He paid the price for every person\u2019s sin and gave each of us a way back to God. When He rose again, He defeated the devil in open combat and stripped from him all the spiritual authority that he had over Adam. From the time of the Fall, satan has held mankind in bondage to the consequences of their sin, which was death and hell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of God\u2019s mercy and grace, you and I, and every born-again believer, are now seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRAYER:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear Father, thank you for Your amazing grace that You sent Your Son to pay the price for my sin. I am eternally grateful that I am seated in heavenly places in Christ and can have fellowship with You. In Jesus\u2019 Name, Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
