SCRIPTURE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the\u00a0Lord\u00a0of hosts. (Malachi 3:11)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEVOTIONAL:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing that is revealed in this week\u2019s theme scripture (see Malachi 3:11 above) is that satan is attracted to fruit. He would like to destroy the increase God brings into your life. Look at the things in your life that are growing or increasing\u2014your family, your ministry, your business, and your relationship with God. These are some of the fruits or increase that are in your life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

God promised us that satan will not destroy our fruit and that He would give us divine protection. Another translation says it like this, \u201cFor your sake I will forbid the locusts to destroy the produce of your soil, and the vines in your fields will not be barren, says the Lord of hosts\u201d (NCB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God also offers protection and preservation through the battles or adversities. God is a keeper. He never sleeps or slumbers (see Psalm 121:3\u20137). He is like a sentry or guard that never leaves his post. He makes sure those who tithe are not ripped off or misdirected by the forces of evil in this world system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRAYER:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear Lord, I am a tither and I take hold of Your promise to protect and preserve me, my family, and all that we have. Thank you that You fight our battles and will protect us from the evils in this world system. I put my trust in You. In Jesus\u2019 Name, Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
