SCRIPTURE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blessed\u00a0be<\/em>\u00a0the\u00a0Lord\u00a0God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.\u00a0(Psalm 72:18)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEVOTIONAL:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miracles are works that exceed human ability by tapping into God\u2019s ability. The Bible refers to them as wondrous (see Psalm 72:18). A wondrous work cannot be matched and leaves all others far behind. Isn\u2019t that wonderful? To take back the marketplace for the Kingdom of God, we need wondrous works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A wondrous work (miracle) is what happened in Luke 5. Peter had a fishing business and through the works of his body had fished all night and caught nothing. He was about to call it a day and go home empty-handed when Jesus came by and asked to use his boat. Jesus most likely wanted to use it to teach the people gathered at the shoreline about The Blessing and the Kingdom of God. After Jesus finished teaching, He commanded Peter, \u201cNow go out where it is deeper and let down your nets and you will catch a lot of fish!\u201d (verse 4 TLB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peter responded, \u201cMaster, we have toiled all the night and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net\u201d (verse 5). The Bible says that when Peter had done this, he gathered in such a great load of fish that his \u201cnet brake\u201d (verse 6), and he called for his partners to help him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peter and his partners supernaturally gathered what The Blessing had produced. He went from a curse-based system of struggle and toil to The Blessing-based system of sowing and gathering. I believe Peter\u2019s net-breaking load of fish didn\u2019t even come from the lake but from an invisible supply<\/em> already provided by the Kingdom of heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRAYER:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear God, Just like Peter, I will do what you tell me, even if it doesn\u2019t make sense to my natural mind. I praise You that The Blessing is working mightily in my life. In Jesus\u2019 Name, I pray. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
