SCRIPTURE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. (Mark 11:23)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEVOTIONAL:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have been called to imitate our Father in every respect, and just as God spoke the world into existence and Jesus accomplished most everything He did here on earth through the power of words, so it is every believer\u2019s responsibility to effect change in their sphere of influence through the proper use of faith-filled words. As Matthew 12:37 MSG says, \u201cLet me tell you something: Every one of these careless words is going to come back to haunt you. There will be a time of Reckoning. Words are powerful; take them seriously. Words can be your salvation. Words can also be your damnation.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, because many in the body of Christ have not known this truth or been taught this principle, they are constantly falling into the trap of being hung by the tongue! They do not understand that words are like workers or employees in a sense; their original purpose was not to express careless thoughts, emotions, and opinions but to carry out orders and instructions. And it goes without saying that most of us fail to keep our words gainfully employed! Isaiah 55:10\u201311 says, \u201cFor as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Watch your words!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRAYER:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear\u00a0God,\u00a0I repent over every careless word I have spoken. I declare that every word, which has not lined up with Your Word, is condemned and comes to nothing for this is my heritage as a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.\u00a0In\u00a0Jesus\u2019 Name, Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
