SCRIPTURE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (Matthew 24:14)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEVOTIONAL:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the disciples asked Jesus what would be the sign of His coming and the end of the world, He told them, \u201cAnd this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness<\/strong> unto all nations; and then shall the end come\u201d (Matthew 24:14 emphasis mine).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Greek word for witness<\/em> in this verse means \u201csomething evidential; with proof or evidence.\u201d Jesus told them not to be deceived by those who come in \u201cMy Name\u201d saying, \u201cI am the Christ,\u201d or by the wars and rumors of wars that they would hear.  Jesus said the end would not come until the gospel of the kingdom is preached \u201cfor a witness\u201d\u2014or with evidence<\/strong>\u2014to every nation (see Matthew 24:14).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means the gospel will be preached with the evidence of MIRACLES, SIGNS AND WONDERS. The truth is that the gospel of the kingdom was never meant to be preached or proclaimed without the miraculous. In fact, the Bible is a miracle Book and Christianity is a miracle lifestyle. It began in miracles, and it is based on a succession of miracles. If we do not have the supernatural in Christianity, we have nothing to offer the unbeliever except a religion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRAYER:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear Father, I pray that I would faithfully witness as the Holy Spirit leads and empowers me with the demonstration of the Gospel of the Kingdom in miracles, signs and wonders. In Jesus\u2019 Name. Amen.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
