But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
(1 John 2:20) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devotion: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this epistle, the apostle John is speaking to believers about the challenges they will face in the end times. Many, being deceived by satan, had left their faith and rejected Jesus. \u201cBut,\u201d John says, \u201cYou have an unction from the Holy One and know all things.\u201d Because you and I are able to discern the truth by the leading of the Holy Spirit, we can be confident that we will stand our ground, staying faithful and true to our Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bringing this same principle into our daily walk, we can be confident that we hear God\u2019s voice regarding important decisions . . . Have you been wondering what to do about a situation in your life? Major life decisions like whether to move to another state? Should you get married? What car to buy or how to prepare for that dream job interview?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t have to rely on your own intellect to figure out the direction you should take. The answers to the questions on your mind are already available down on the inside of your spirit. Submit your fears, doubts and uncertainty to the Holy Spirit, believing that you will \u201cknow all things\u201d that you need to know to take possession of God\u2019s promises.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lord, I thank you for Your Spirit that dwells in me and tells me of things to come. I submit to You right now my concern (name your need) and believe that I hear Your voice clearly and accurately. I know all things that I need to know related to my situation. In Jesus\u2019 Name, Amen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
