Scripture: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath\u2026
(Deuteronomy 28:12-13) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devotion: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As explained last week, we are heirs to the blessings of Abraham through Christ\u2014praise God! Verse 12 of \u201cThe Blessing\u201d chapter focuses on our work. If you remember, when Adam sinned in the garden, part of the curse caused that from then on, his work would be hard. He would toil by the sweat of his brow for his living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, Jesus paid the price that the curse would be broken and now gives us His yoke which is easy and His burden, which is light. Deuteronomy 28:12-13 declares that the Lord will send rain (a necessary provision for the work of that day) and bless all the work that you do. You have been appointed to be the lender and not the borrower, the head and not the tail. God has purposed for you to be on top and never at the bottom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My friend, does this describe your life\u2014it should! Let your faith rise to a higher level today and believe that these promises are for you through Christ. The Bible says to decree a thing and it shall be established. Let\u2019s do that right now . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lord, I believe that the blessings of Abraham are mine through Christ. I decree that these blessings will run after me and overtake me. I receive by faith all Your good provision, Your blessing upon my work, favor and promotion. I am the lender and not the borrower, the head and not the tail. Thank you, Father! In Jesus\u2019 Name, Amen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
