SCRIPTURE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For my thoughts\u00a0are<\/em>\u00a0not your thoughts, neither\u00a0are<\/em>\u00a0your ways my ways, saith the\u00a0Lord. For as <\/em>the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8\u20139)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEVOTIONAL:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are made to walk just like God, by faith and not by sight. We\u2019re made to talk just like God, \u201ccalling things that be not as though they were.\u201d We\u2019re made to see just like God, looking not at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are also\nmade to think just like God. In the natural, that just isn\u2019t possible. (See\nthis week\u2019s scripture verse.) But once we\u2019re born again, God wants us to come on\nback up and think like He does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You were\nborn out of the womb of the Holy Ghost. You were born of God and created in\nChrist Jesus for good works that He ordained before the foundation of the\nworld\u2014works you can do only with God\u2019s ability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The world\nneeds to see those good works, for we are in a time when the earth is reeling\nunder some things that have been done, things that bring devastation. You see\nthem in the form of sickness and disease (like the coronavirus), famine and\npestilence. These are things that Jesus said will be indications of the last\ndays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, we\nare to \u201cbe of good cheer\u201d for Jesus has overcome the world, and so have we,\nwhen we operate in faith. \u201cThese things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye\nmight have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer;\nI have overcome the world\u201d (John 16:33).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRAYER:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear God, I believe I receive the ability to\nwalk, talk, see and think just like You through exercising my faith. I desire\nto walk in those good works You have ordained for me, and I thank You for Your\nprotection and peace. In Jesus\u2019 Name, Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
