SCRIPTURE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is<\/em> like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:37\u201340)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEVOTIONAL:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As\nyou pursue your kingdom assignment and rise to higher levels of influence, you\ncan expect opposition from satan, who has specific temptations with your name\non them. This is why your obedience to God\u2019s commands is critical for your\npromotion and long-term success. This is especially true of God\u2019s commandment\nto love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\nrefer to it as the \u201claw of love.\u201d In fact, Jesus taught that all the laws of\nGod hang on two commandments: to love God with all your heart,\nsoul and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself. To be successful in the Kingdom of God, every believer must learn\nto live by the law of love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First\nJohn 4:8 says that \u201cGod is love.\u201d So when\nwe walk in love, we walk in God and God walks (abides) in us. This love is the\nGod-kind of love, which the Scriptures say never fails. This love keeps you from\ncompromising and falling when tests and temptations come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walk\nin love today!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRAYER:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Father, thank you that You keep me from compromising and falling when tests and temptations come. By faith, I walk in Your law of love today and every day toward everyone I meet.  In Jesus\u2019 Name, I pray. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
