I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Isaiah\n43:18-19 AMP)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DEVOTIONAL:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>January 1<sup>st<\/sup> ushers in a brand-new year, filled with personal ambitions, hopes and dreams. The challenges of last year are set aside. You may be one that writes down your &nbsp;\u201cNew Year\u2019s resolutions, believing that this year is going to be better than the last. That\u2019s fine, God\u2019s Word encourages us to \u201cwrite the vision and make it plain\u2026\u201d (Habakkuk 2:2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, there\u2019s something much better than New\nYear\u2019s resolutions, and that\u2019s the Word of God. Make your most important\n\u201cresolution\u201d this year to spend quality time, meditating the Scriptures. (See\nJoshua 1:8.) God\u2019s promise to do a new thing in each of our lives will come to\npass as we believe and confess His Word in faith. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t fear or be discouraged that it looks\nimpossible\u2014with God all things are possible to him who believes. As God spoke\nto Israel, He is the God who puts a road in the wilderness, who makes a way\nwhere there seems to be no way. Do you feel you lack in some area\u2014resources,\ntime, strength, ability\u2014that you don\u2019t have what it takes? That is a lie of the\ndevil. Your God is the God who creates rivers in the desert and supplies all\nthat you need to enter into His good plans for you. (See Jeremiah 29:11.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have a happy and blessed New Year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PRAYER:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lord, I thank You that You have good plans\nand purposes for this new year. I thank You for the blessings and I let go of\nthe troubles of last year. By faith, I receive the new thing that You are doing\nin my life and trust You to bring it to pass.
