SCRIPTURE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That you faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEVOTIONAL:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember what Paul said in this week\u2019s scripture verses\u20141 Corinthians 2:4\u20135? \u201cAnd my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man\u2019s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.\u201d In other words, Paul was no longer going to use the wisdom of men in ministering to the people, not when he was a partaker of God\u2019s wisdom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul went on to say, \u201cHowbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought\u201d (verse 6). This means that man\u2019s wisdom doesn\u2019t bring the most effective or desired results. We need to operate in God\u2019s wisdom whose frequency is on another level, giving results no natural wisdom can give.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every child of God possesses the wisdom of God; it\u2019s your birthright, and it\u2019s time the Church begins to enjoy this heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRAYER:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear God, I praise You, Father, for giving your superior wisdom to the Church, and to me! No longer will I rely on the limited wisdom of man, but I will trust in and operate in Your wisdom with the demonstration of the Spirit and power of God. In Jesus\u2019 Name, Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
