In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Favor does not work with a bad attitude (e.g., bitterness, complaining and blaming others). Psalm 67:5–6 says, “Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.”

My point is this, watch your attitude because a bad attitude could indicate that your faith is not working. Faith always sees the future. What we learn from this is not to look at the situations and circumstances around us, but to look at God and His promises and provisions. Meditate on God’s Word day and night and speak God’s Word only. God will exalt you in due time.

This is important because God is going to send you among the wicked. In fact, God purposely plants the righteous among the wicked. He’s going to send you among people who are not saved. He is going to send you into tight places, but you’ve got to maintain your integrity towards the Word of God. Remember that the God who sent you there is going to raise you up!

Dear God, I joyfully receive Your assignment. I will maintain integrity wherever and among whomever You send me. I will not let a bad attitude derail my faith in Your favor. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
