SCRIPTURE:

You did not choose me; I chose you. And I gave you this work: to go and produce fruit, fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you anything you ask for in my name. (John 15:16)

DEVOTIONAL:

You might be asking yourself, “Why does God want me to walk in divine favor? What is His purpose?”

God’s first purpose for man is fellowship. Fellowship is mutual sharing—God wanted someone to talk to. The next purpose for man is dominion—God wanted someone to govern this earth and mankind was made for that purpose. The next purpose is to bear fruit—God wants to reveal His potential through mankind by you and I bearing much fruit for His glory. He is the vine and you are the branch. The fruit comes off you (the branch) so that God can reveal who He is (the vine) through you.

God manifests His favor in your life so He can expose His nature and His ability. He wants to expose who He is on this earth. God wants to maximize our abilities. We are to live out all God has called us to live out. Why? Because you have a gift in you which is going to be used for the betterment of mankind. You have a role to play in this end-time generation and you will bring an impact to the industry or place where you are.

PRAYER:

Dear Father in Heaven, thank you for calling me to fulfill the assignment You’ve given me on this earth. May I walk in Your favor and manifest Your glory to all those around me, producing Kingdom fruit that will last. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
