He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. (Psalm 107:20)

DEVOTIONAL:

There was a woman in the Gospel of Mark, chapter five, who had been to many physicians, but continued to “grow worse.” Personally, I’m convinced that without the physician most of the Christians would have died. Why? Because theydidn’t know they had the measure of faith or they didn’t know how to use their faith. The difference is that doctors mostly treat the disease, but faith goes to the root of the problem and deals with the enemy who causes the disease. The woman touched Jesus’ garment and virtue (divine power) flowed out of Him. He said to her, “Daughter, thy faith has made you whole.”

You might be in a place where sickness or disease has had its grip on your body for a time and the medicaltreatment has not provided any significant relief. Here’s the good news, Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And what He’ll do for one, He will do for all. 

Inside God’s Word lies God’s power; therefore, when you receive the Word, the power comes on your life to make possible man’s impossibilities. When you receive the Word, you also receive the anointing—God’s burden-removing, yoke-destroying power.

PRAYER:

Dear Father, thank you for Your anointing—Your burden-removing, yoke-destroying power operating in my life to undo the works of the enemy and bring healing and deliverance where I need it most. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DEVOTIONAL:

Every born-again believer has been given the “same measure of faith.” You and I were given the same amounts. The difference is whether this measure is being used and developed.

There was a man in the book of Acts, chapter fourteen, who the Scriptures say “never had walked: the same heard Paulspeak…and (Paul) perceiving that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leapedand walked” (verses 8–10).

Notice, the man had faith, but he was sitting on it, probably waiting on a feeling. Faith is not a feeling; faith is not a product of reason or human logic. Faith is a spiritual force coming out of your spirit (inner man) and once released, will do the impossible. 

Faith is released the moment we act on the spoken Word.

PRAYER:

Dear Father, I am believing for Your answer to my situation. I have searched out the scriptures that fit my need, and I speak them over my situation now in faith with expectancy, awaiting Your miracle intervention. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV)

DEVOTIONAL:

Job said “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me…” (Job 3:25). The Word of God tells us to “fear not”…God “has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV). Job returned to faith and God restored to him twice as much of what he had before. He got double for his trouble.

Real faith, or the God kind of faith, says “If God says it’s true, it is true.” It needs no physical evidence that would satisfy the senses…it acts on the Word of God independent of sense evidence. This faith is much like Abraham had when God told him that he and his barren wife Sarah were going to have a child. “He considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb” (Romans 4:19).

Real faith is built on the Word of God alone.

PRAYER:

Dear Father, You did not give me fear—I release any fear, doubt and unbelief that tries to take control and steal Your promises out of my heart and life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): (Romans 10:8 NKJV)

DEVOTIONAL:

Two enemies of this God kind of faith are “sense knowledge faith” and “mental assent.” Unfortunately, these two types of faith have been most prevalent in the local church. Let me briefly describe them:

Sense knowledge faith says, “When I see it with my natural eyes or when I feel it, then I will believe.” It’s the kind of faith that’s built on some natural experience rather than solely on the Word of God. It’s the kind of faith Thomas had when he said in John 20:25, “Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

Mental assent agrees with the Bible, that it came from God, and that every Word is true. But when the crisis comes, it does not work. Why? Because the Word never entered into the person’s heart (Romans 10:8).

Other enemies of faith are fear, doubt, and unbelief. They are all designed to rob you of your faith and leave you vulnerable to the devil’s assaults.

PRAYER:

Dear Father, I purpose in my heart to have only Your kind of faith and not to rely on sense knowledge or mental assent. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. (Romans 12:3)

DEVOTIONAL:

The Bible tells us that every born-again believer has been given “the measure of faith” (Romans 12:3). Notice, it didn’tsay “a measure,” but “the measure”…meaning that we all are given the same amount when we are born again.

This faith is referred to as the “God kind of faith.” Jesus told His disciples in Mark’s Gospel, “Have faith in God,” or we could say it like this, “Have or receive God’s faith.” This is the same faith that God Almighty used to create the universe. One prophet of God describes God’s faith as real faith.

When we use His faith, this “real faith,” to understand and to do things that were before impossible, we are now operating in the “class of  God,” mankind’s original mode of operation.

PRAYER:

Dear Father, thank you for placing in me the “God kind of faith”—the same faith You used to create the universe. I believe that with Your faith in me, nothing is impossible! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. (Romans 4:17)

DEVOTIONAL:

Romans 4:17 says, “(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” Another translation says, “And this promise is from God Himself, who makes the dead live again and speaks of future events with as much certainty as though they were already past” (TLB). This means that as a child of God and a kingdom citizen, you are already healed. Your debts are already paid. Your family members are already delivered. It’s already done! 

Understanding the Lord’s prayer and the words “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done” is to get a revelation of what God has already spoken or done and speak it by faith into the world that already exists. This kingdom will replace the kingdom of darkness that Satan has built by taking over because of Adam’s sin.

So, if God’s promises have yet to manifest in your life, your job is to do like Abraham and call those things that be not as though they were, in Jesus’ Name. Your part is to believe and then speak!

PRAYER:

Dear Father, I speak out Your promises by faith and believe that You will manifest Your provision in my situation—I thank You that it is already done! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

DEVOTIONAL:

Whenever Jesus healed the sick, fed the multitudes, delivered people from demons, and raised the dead, He demonstrated the power and sovereignty of His Father’s kingdom, proving the scripture that says, “The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all” (Psalm 103:19 NKJV). When Jesus entered a place, He brought the Kingdom, and the supernatural invaded the natural, overriding the physical laws of time, space, and matter. When people heard the good news and caught a glimpse of heaven on earth, they began to follow the Messiah everywhere He went. 

Even today everybody is looking for the Kingdom, not religion, because the Kingdom is still the answer to every problem facing humanity. So what is the Kingdom of God? It is the invisible, supernatural government of heaven that carries the power and authority to override the curse that entered the earth when Adam sinned. When the Kingdom of God comes, Satan’s kingdom of darkness is dismantled and displaced. When the religious leaders asked Jesus when this new kingdom would come, He answered, “The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:20–21). 

In the kingdom all authority flows from Jesus, its King, and its constitution is the Bible, which tells us our rights and privileges as kingdom citizens. God governs everything in it and is supreme. Believers are kingdom representatives and ambassadors. We, as believers, are to bring God’s invisible kingdom to visible display here on earth to draw people into it.

PRAYER:

Dear God, I am a citizen of Your Kingdom and I praise You for drawing me by Your Spirit to salvation in Jesus Christ. Help me each day to be a faithful representative and ambassador of Your kingdom. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

When Jesus began His earthly ministry, He launched it with the pronouncement of God’s kingdom: “Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel’” (Mark 1:14–15 NKJV). When the disciples asked the Master to teach them how to pray like He did, He spoke about the Kingdom, saying, “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. …For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen” (Matt. 6:9–13).

The kingdom and its principles were so essential to Jesus’ message and His reason for coming to earth that He continued teaching about it even after He was crucified but had not yet ascended to the Father, “During the forty days after he suffered and died, he appeared to the apostles from time to time, and he proved to them in many ways that he was actually alive. And he talked to them about the Kingdom of God” (Acts 1:3 NLT).

PRAYER:

“Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. …For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.” In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

DEVOTIONAL:

The first step to operating in the fourth dimension is to understand that this physical world we see and live in is not all there is. There is another, unseen realm that is just as real and even more powerful than this one. We call it the Kingdom of God. In my role as a pastor I have given many eulogies over the years for those who have gone on to be with the Lord, as we say. We often call their funerals home-goings because if the person was born again by having accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they are not really dead but have simply transitioned to another realm. 

The apostle Paul spoke about this truth when he wrote, 

Our bodies are like tents that we live in here on earth. But when these tents are destroyed, we know that God will give each of us a place to live. These homes will not be buildings someone has made, but they are in heaven and will last forever. God is the one who makes all this possible. He has given us his Spirit to make us certain he will do it. So always be cheerful! As long as we are in these [natural] bodies, we are away from the Lord. But we live by faith, not by what we see. (2 Corinthians 5:1, 5–7, CEV)

We live in two realms—natural and spiritual. This month, we will explore how to “move up to the fourth dimension (4D).”

PRAYER:

Dear Father, thank you for the promise we have in Christ Jesus as born-again believers that though our bodies perish here on the earth, we transition to Heaven and will be with You forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

“But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.” (Psalm 92:10–11)

DEVOTIONAL:

There is coming a new anointing, which the Bible calls “fresh oil,” to empower the end-time church to fulfill its prophetic destiny, to finish the dominion mandate God gave to Adam…“Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.” This will be at a time, as one man said, “When Christian people will be the most attractive people in society.” Part of this anointing is for the Holy Spirit to execute vengeance on all of your adversaries. Some ministries are trying to get by on the old oil of yesteryear’s anointing (the old wine), but God has fresh oil, a new anointing, that will raise up a nation of kings and priests to fill the whole earth with the kingdom of God. Get ready for the “fresh oil”!

Once Jesus was raised from the dead and was seated at the right hand of the Father, His ministry was completely handed over to the person of the Holy Spirit. And, as mentioned earlier, one of the jobs of the Holy Spirit is to execute vengeance on behalf of the people of God. In the book of Psalms, we find: “The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed” (Psalm 103:6 NIV). In the book of Hebrews, the Lord says, “Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord.” And again, The Lord shall judge his people” (Hebrews 10:30).

This is why God’s people can live with confidence in these last days, no matter how impossible

our situations may seem. I declare whatever has been resisting God’s plan for your life, your ministry or your business is stopped today, in Jesus’ Name!”

PRAYER:

Dear Father, thank you that through Christ and the fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit, You have protected me and delivered me from every evil work of the enemy. Vengeance belongs to You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
