If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

(1 John 1:9)

Some people make their own plans and then try to get God to bless them. That’s a mistake. You don’t need to get God to bless your plan. He’s already got a plan for you. Get His plan because it’s already blessed. And, God doesn’t need a backup plan because His first one works.

All God needs is one person to change the culture or to save a nation from destruction. He did it with one woman named Esther. Esther shifted the climate and caused a whole nation to be saved. One woman.

Look at the example of Rosa Parks. One woman refused to give up her seat on a bus, and her courage and stand for justice started a movement, the civil rights movement. It shifted the climate and changed the culture of an entire nation.

God can do the same with you, with no compromise. And don’t be discouraged if you have missed it in your past. God can still use you. The Bible says a righteous man may fall seven times, but he gets back up again (Proverbs 24:16). Just get back up and make a quality decision that you won’t make that mistake again.

If you’ve missed it or feel like you’ve failed, just repent, and trust Him to forgive you and He will do great things through your life!

Dear God, thank you for using ordinary people like Esther and Rosa Parks to do extraordinary things. I believe You can do the same through me. I yield myself to Your plan and if I’ve sinned, I repent now. Thank you for forgiving me and making all things new. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
