SCRIPTURE:

Study (God’s Word) day and night to be sure to obey everything that is written there. If you do this, you will be wise and successful in everything. (Joshua 1:8 NCV)

DEVOTIONAL:

Welcome to this journey of discovering the power of faith and how it can help you win in life. Whether you’re facing the pressures of school, navigating friendships, or figuring out your future, having faith in God is your ultimate game-changer.

When I think of the word victorious, I think about winning teams. Winning teams have things in common, such as winning game plans, mindsets, and habits. That means they study how to win. They think about how to win. Then, they practice the skills and develop the behaviors necessary to win. Fortunately, you don’t have to be a professional athlete or a competitor to understand what it takes to win. We all have experienced what it takes to overcome challenges to win at something.

The good news is that God wants you to win in life. Your ability to live a victorious Christian life depends on your thinking, behavior, and habits. If you allow God’s Word to shape all three, you will win in life. Fortunately, God has given you all the tools to be victorious, but will you use them? That will determine the victory.

PRAYER:

Dear God, I am thankful that You want me to win in life and have given me Your Word in which I can discover all that I need to experience victory in every situation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
