SCRIPTURE:

For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield. (Psalm 5:12 NKJV)

DEVOTIONAL:

Another definition of The Blessing is that it is the anointing of God through which divine favor flows. The Blessing gives you divine favor.

Remember when Mordecai requested that Esther should go before the king on behalf of the Jews, so that the wicked scheme of Haman would not be carried out? She was reluctant at first, but after fasting for three days she went in. Supernatural favor (blessing) kicked in as she stood before the king: “And when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, she obtained favor in his sight, and he held out to [her] the golden scepter that was in his hand. So Esther drew near and touched the tip of the scepter. Then the king said to her, What will you have, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given you, even to the half of the kingdom” (Esther 5:2–3 AMPC).

Divine favor is the greatest blessing. When God gives you divine favor, as He did Esther, you will get anything you request. It will cause people to react to you differently than they would to others. One day of favor is worth a lifetime of labor.

PRAYER:

Dear God, You have given me The Blessing and I receive the anointing of divine favor. I ask for Your wisdom in every situation that I might operate in kingdom blessing with integrity and truth. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
