SCRIPTURE:

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (Matthew 28:18)

DEVOTIONAL:

We are blessed with God’s supernatural power—today. We do not have to wait to get to heaven to experience the supernatural. The supernatural should be a central part of our lives every day. However, because of satan’s constant interference in our spiritual growth, living in the natural world can be difficult. We often feel weary as we deal with troubles and fight temptation. We have to deal with tension, strife, crime, hatred, corruption, and the like just like everyone else.

Nevertheless, the truth remains that we have access to the power and faith of God. He did not leave us dependent on our own strength and abilities. Satan would love for us to live like that, but that’s not part of God’s plan at all. He gave us very real power. He wants us to live what I like to call “the high life” with Him.

Faith is based on God’s supernatural power. Without faith, we can’t experience His power or please Him. Faith feeds on impossibility—it is opposite of human reason. And God wants us to grow in faith, not just stay where we are.

PRAYER:

Dear Father in Heaven, I praise You for giving Your children supernatural power to live on this earth above the limitations of human reason. I trust my impossibilities to You, believing that what seems impossible with man is possible with You through Your supernatural power. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
