Favor and God’s End-Time Church
SCRIPTURE:
Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. (Psalm102:13)
DEVOTIONAL:
As I’ve mentioned before, God intended for the Church (the Body of Christ) to manage this earth, and you and I have been sent here at this particular time for this assignment. Psalm 102:13 says, “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.”
Zion symbolizes the Church. When we say “set time,” we’re talking about a time that’s been set. And, I believe that you and I are blessed to be in this “set time”; that we are the generation to usher it in. Favor is something we need to know about, and we need to make sure it is flowing in our lives.
Verse 16 continues, “When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.” We’re headed for Jesus’ Second Coming, and the Church is getting built up for it. It is a time where you’d better get right, or you will get left. Favor is of utmost importance to the believer in this hour.
The Church has had the wrong mentality. We’ve been looking for someone to bless us, asking, “Can you please help us?” Help you? We, the Church, are supposed to be helping the world!
Are you ready to obey God as He reveals His assignment to you for such a time as this?
PRAYER:
Dear Father, Yes, I am ready to do whatever You tell me, wherever You send me. Lord, please direct me, equip me, and empower me by Your Spirit to do what You’ve called and anointed me to do. By faith, I receive my divine marching orders for this end-time season. I am in the right place at the right time to fulfill my God-ordained destiny. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
