SCRIPTURE:

You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting (John 15:16 AMPC)

DEVOTIONAL:

As God’s sons and daughters, we have been placed on the earth to influence and change the parts of our culture that are out of alignment with God’s laws. He has called and chosen us to take His kingdom into a lost and hurting world by planting us in one of the seven mountains or spheres of influence that shape a society: media, government, arts and entertainment, family, religion, business, and education.

Every aspect of our society falls under one of these mountains, and God has connected our purpose with our kingdom calling to possess, occupy, and lead one or several of these mountains.

Throughout the Bible, God strategically placed people like David, Esther, Joseph, Mary and Paul in positions of influence where they had to use their faith at some point to fight and stand up against forces that were opposing God and His people. God now expects the same from you and me.

Luke 17:21 says, “…behold the kingdom of God is within you,” and we’ve been given kingdom authority, power and wisdom to affect change wherever God plants us.

PRAYER:

Dear God, I thank you for calling and choosing me to influence and bring change and solutions to the mountain of (name the mountain or mountains where He’s planted you). By faith, I receive kingdom authority, power and wisdom to fulfill my call. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
