SCRIPTURE:

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:28) 

DEVOTIONAL:

The Blessing was first given to Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. God transferred to them the same power and ability He used to create this earth so that they could continue the work of creation and make every place on the earth just like the garden of Eden. Eden was a copy of heaven.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:28

Again, this Blessing on Adam carried the same power that God used to create all matter. It was given to Adam to help mankind fulfill the mission and plan of filling the earth with the Garden. God’s plan was for mankind to replicate the Garden over the whole earth and to live in the garden of Eden all of their days. With The Blessing, you can take the worst place on earth and turn it into heaven on earth (Eden) without having to toil and struggle to do it.

The Blessing was first on Adam and Eve to keep the earth stocked and fully functioning as God intended. When Adam through disobedience and sin lost “The Blessing,” humanity fell to the level of the curse. All humanity was in Adam, which is why the Bible says “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” and “the wages of sin is death…” Sin is not so much what we did, but how we were born. We were all born in sin, and we all must be born again. 

PRAYER:

Dear Father, Your Word says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Thank you that because Jesus paid the price for my sin, I am born again and have access to the same power and ability You originally intended for man to have. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
