SCRIPTURE:

Jesus said, “For truly I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. And nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20, MEV)

DEVOTIONAL:

Again, miracles come from God, but they manifest through the power of the Holy Spirit and the operation of spiritual laws working through God’s people by faith. Faith, like sowing and reaping, is a spiritual law (Romans 3:27), and it isgiven to us to dominate the curse and override the known laws of nature to produce a miracle. In short, miracles work byfaith.

Faith is for the supernatural. I heard someone say, “If anything can be done, skill and experience can do it. Ifanything cannot be done, faith can do it.” I thought that was profound. Why? Because faith is for the “impossible.” You may be facing something right now that can’t be healed, paid for, fixed, or restored without faith. But here’s the goodnews: Jesus said, “For truly I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. And nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20, MEV). Faith is like a seed. If you don’t have enough right now, you can go get some more, and your seed bin is the Bible.

The Word of God is the only source of faith. So find a scripture (seed) that fits your need or desire, and plant it in the soil of your heart (spirit). How do you plant it? Through biblical meditation, which means to mutter or speak quietly. Once planted, the seed knows what to do. As Mark 4 explains, “So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; and should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how” (verses 26–27).

PRAYER:

Dear God, I praise You, Lord, that You do miracles according to our faith. I believe I have the faith to receive the miracle I need to manifest in my situation. Thank you, Father, that it is done! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
