SCRIPTURE:

Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. (Isaiah 8:18)

DEVOTIONAL:

If you belong to Christ—if you seek Him out—you will experience signs and wonders. A lot of times, we think we are going to fulfill our destinies without miracles, without signs, without wonders—without His supernatural intervention. But we cannot.

As long as we live in this world, according to our human understanding, we are living the “low life.” You rise to the “high life” when you put your faith in God and He gives you some direction. He will task you with a calling that might seem impossible, but faith is fed with the impossible. It’s difficult for our human minds to believe in miracles—in the signs and wonders He sends us. We try to figure them out. We think about them in length, trying to make sense of them.

We must move the miracles, the possibilities, the signs, and the wonders out of our minds and claim them by faith!

PRAYER:

Dear God, I believe in miracles, signs and wonders. Raise my expectations and faith that I may walk in the “high life” and the calling that You have destined for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
