See Solutions, Not Problems
SCRIPTURE:
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. (Mark 4:39)
DEVOTIONAL:
Jesus never saw problems, only solutions. He always knew what He would do. We never read where Jesus became fearful or flustered about anything. Why? Because Jesus got His sight from what was shown to Him by the Father, not from the earthly circumstances that were mostly under the control of the evil one.
- Jesus saw the multitude fed.
- Jesus saw Lazarus raised from the dead.
- Jesus saw blind eyes opened and the lame walking
And what Jesus saw, He said—just as His Father. And what He said manifested!
One man of God said, “You cannot boldly say what you have never seen.” Jesus could boldly say, “Peace, be still” (Mark 4:39), because He saw peace. So when you are in the middle of a spiritual storm, a business battle, or a funding fight, meditate on God’s Word until you can see what God has already declared about your situation. Then say His Word boldly, just as Jesus did.
PRAYER:
Dear Father, I rebuke fear and every spiritual storm that is trying to come against me. I see the solutions, not the problems. I speak God’s Word boldly and I have peace. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
