SCRIPTURE:

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. (Proverbs 18:21)

DEVOTIONAL:

Can the blessed be cursed? Yes. The first way the blessed can be cursed is by negative words being spoken over a person or situation.

The next thing that can rob you of your blessing is a generational curse. Generational curses come through family lines often where deceased or living relatives have spoken “curses” over people, sometimes through practicing witchcraft or sorcery. You can break generational curses with your own words.

Say this with me, “Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You that every word that has been spoken against me, against my family, or against my future—right now, I sever it from my life. I loose myself from every hex, vex, spell, jinx, psychic power, bewitchment, witchcraft power, or sorcery that has been sent out against me or my family line back to ten generations. I loose myself and my family from it now in Jesus Name! I cut it off with the blood of Jesus. Your Word says that whoever the Son sets free is free indeed! I’m free! My children are free! My spouse is free! My relatives are free! In the Name of Jesus, we are free indeed!

PRAYER:

I praise You, Father, I repent of every negative word that I have spoken over myself or any person or situation. Thank you for delivering me from the negative effects of my own words, and from words or curses that others have spoken over my family or me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
