SCRIPTURE:

I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. (Genesis 12:2–3 NIV)

DEVOTIONAL:

In God’s kingdom there is a higher economic system. God showed this to me through the story of Joseph in the Old Testament and gave me this pattern for our Joseph Center ministry. Joseph ran the most powerful economy in the world. As second in command in Egypt, Joseph’s system prospered, saving not only Egypt, but his family and the children of Israel as well, while in all the neighboring nations there was economic collapse. 

Have you ever thought about why Joseph went through being sold as a slave and thrown into prison? He had to be transferred out of that tribal setting into a place where the mechanism of the blessing of Abraham could operate in him. God may move some of you, too, if it’s necessary to position you where you can be fruitful and do great things for His kingdom. 

The blessing of Abraham is on you. Say, “The Blessing of Abraham is on me and I am blessed!”

PRAYER:

Dear God, I will go wherever You want me to go and do whatever You want me to do. I receive your positioning and provision that I might be a blessing to others. I declare, “The Blessing of Abraham is on me.” In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
