SCRIPTURE:

And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south. And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. (Genesis 13:1–2)

DEVOTIONAL:

If you’re born again, you’ve got The Blessing on your life. Say, “I’ve got The Blessing.” What did this blessing do for Abraham? We already saw this in Genesis 13:1–2, “And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south. And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.”

So, the blessing of Abraham will get you some cattle, some silver, and some gold. Now here’s the unique thing about this that’s key. People don’t have a problem with being rich—what they have a problem with is God doing it. As long as they work three jobs, long hours, lose their family, their kids are running wild…they don’t have a problem with that. But, they do have a problem if you work normal hours, go home, be with your kids, love your spouse, and you still get rich not because you did it, but because God did it!

I’m not coming against people. It’s the world system that dictates that kind of thinking. They don’t understand God’s economy, but praise God, you and I do, and we’re going to live in it!

PRAYER:

Dear God, thank you that The Blessing is operating in my life and for the many manifested blessings You have given me. I agree with Your Word that says I will receive Your blessings and riches without toil because it is You that has done it! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
