SCRIPTURE:

For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. (Romans 4:13)

DEVOTIONAL:

As a born-again believer, you have been redeemed from poverty. You are no longer limited to the economic and cultural problems of this world system, because you are operating in the New Economy of the Kingdom of God that cannot fail. In this Kingdom, you have access to power, provision and protection that the world knows nothing about.

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Galatians 3:13–14)

You are a joint-heir with Jesus Christ and the seed of Abraham. As we see in our theme scripture this week, “For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.” (Romans 4:13)

With this knowledge, you have the ability to manifest both spiritual and material blessings in your life.   It is important to know that you do not have to work for these blessings. They have been freely given to you through the covenant of God. Just walk in it!

PRAYER:

Dear God, thank you for refining me to make me better, and forgive me for the times I didn’t understand that Your correction was for my good. Guide me with Your eye, according to Your plans and purposes, and I will do what You show me to do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
