SCRIPTURE:

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Romans 1:17)

DEVOTIONAL:

The most important thing a believer should know after being born-again and filled with the Holy Ghost is faith. It’s one of the most important subjects to learn and master in our Christian walk. At least four times in the Scriptures it says, “The just shall live by faith.”

The message here is that faith is a way of living and not a parachute used in case of an emergency. Faith is a lifestyle and not an event. It’s how we live, as children of God, every day of our lives.

And to live by faith doesn’t mean you quit your job, go on a picnic and feed the birds, expecting God to take care of you. It means that you don’t look to the job as your source or supply. You look to God as your source—and to your job or assignment as only one of many channels by which God provides for your needs.

PRAYER:

Dear God, thank you that You are the source and supply of everything I need in this life—divine health, prosperity, restoration in my family, success in my business (or job), and anointing for the ministry You’ve given me for this season. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
