SCRIPTURE:

For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. (1 Corinthians 4:20)

DEVOTIONAL:

As we’ve been learning, the Kingdom of God is in you. This Kingdom or government is the source of every provision that you will need in the earth until Jesus comes. Are you experiencing the goodness and power of His kingdom in your own life and demonstrating it to others?

Or have you been struggling with sickness, family problems, or living paycheck to paycheck? If this latter situation describes your life, know that God has much better plans for you, and it starts with knowing who you are and what is on the inside of you.

You are not just human. The unsaved in the world are, but you’re not if you’ve been born again Why? God is in you. Say this aloud, “God is in me now.” You’ve got to say those words, get them down in your heart, and believe it! Once you get this revelation, no force of darkness will be able to stop you or steal from you.

We, who have been born again, are kingdom citizens. Philippians 3:20 NLT says, “We are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.” Our citizenship is in heaven.

PRAYER:

Dear God, I declare now that You live within me and I am a citizen of heaven. Thank you that I am not limited to the sickness, strife and lack existing in the world, but I am experiencing the goodness and power of Your kingdom in every area of my life. Help me each day to demonstrate Your kingdom to all that I meet. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
