Scripture:

For the Lord of Armies says this: “In pursuit of his glory, he sent me against the nations plundering you, for whoever touches you touches the pupil of my eye.
(Zechariah 2:8 CSB)

Devotion:

The vengeance of the Lord is designed to protect you, your family, your business, your church and everything that you own or are involved in. As you move forward, possessing your inheritance and fulfilling your God-given assignment, our God will judge anyone, any system, or any army that tries to touch you or interfere with your assignment. (See 2 Kings 19.)

You are God’s property which means you can no longer be molested, tormented, assaulted, harassed or killed. Zechariah 2:8 says, “…for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.” You are the “apple of God’s eye.” This word apple in Hebrew means “pupil.” Have you ever tried to touch the pupil of your eye? You can’t. Your eyelid immediately closes to protect it. It’s the same with our relationship with God, especially when we are actively advancing His kingdom.

If anyone tries to harm or hurt you, God’s presence will cover and protect you. But you have to believe this. Everything in the kingdom is received according to your faith. I decree that whatever has been blocking God’s plan from coming to pass in your life is now being removed! Everything held up that was prepared by God for your destiny must be released now… in Jesus’ Name!

Prayer:

Dear God, thank you for loving me and covering me with Your protection and restitution from every suffered wrong. Your vengeance protects my family and me and (name anything else you’re concerned about) from every loss, harm and attack. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
