Praying with Praise
SCRIPTURE:
While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. (Psalm 146:2)
DEVOTIONAL:
Praying with praise recognizes His awesome qualities and works, listing them and expanding upon them as you praise Him, with hands lifted or even offering a dance of praise before Him. God’s vision is to bring us from a place of desolation and mourning to becoming people of glory and praise, thereby drawing the whole world to Him. (Psalm 146:2, 71:8, 119:164, Isaiah 62:1–7, Hebrews 13:15)
PRAYER:
Dear God, I praise You, Lord, for You are awesome and all powerful. Your Name is above all of Heaven and Earth and I exalt You for who You are. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
