SCRIPTURE:

“And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and behold, the camels were coming.” (Genesis 24:63)

DEVOTIONAL:

Isaac’s meditation was probably a custom handed down to him from his father, Abraham. Notice it says, “He lifted up his eyes.”

This is the same expression used by Jesus describing the unseen harvest in the Gospel of John, chapter four.

And the same words used to describe the actions of Abraham (Genesis 22:13) when he, by faith, saw the “ram caught in the thicket.”

And the same phrase used to describe what was shown to Jacob in a dream to empower him to eventually possess everything his deceiving father-in-law, Laban, had.

Brother and Sister, receive this as a word to you today. The answers you need to your situation are not around you nor in the wisdom of men. Lift up your eyes to God, meditate on His Word, and He will enable you to “see” and receive the blessings He has planned for you.

PRAYER:

Lord, I praise You and thank You for the ability to “see” in the spirit realm Your answers to my prayers. I meditate now on Your Word; I lift up my eyes to You and receive revelation from You that will change my situation and bring victory.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
