SCRIPTURE:

Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing. (Psalm 107:21–22)

DEVOTIONAL:

Draw close to God by practicing the next two creative, but simple, ways to connect with God:

Number Two:

Praying with thanksgiving is thanking God for anything and everything that comes to mind that you are thankful to Him for. It’s showing appreciation and gratefulness for how good He is to us. Even in adversity, we thank God that He sees all and has worked it out for our good. We acknowledge that we owe all we have and all we are to Him, and we will not forget it! (Psalm 107:21–22, Ephesians 5:20)

Number Three:

Praying with praise, we recognize His awesome qualities and works, listing them and expand-ing upon them as we praise Him, with hands lifted or even offering a dance of praise before Him. God’s vision is to bring us from a place of desolation and mourning to becoming people of glory and praise, thereby drawing the whole world to Him. (Psalm 146:2, 71:8, 119:164, Isaiah 62:1-7, Hebrews 13:15)

PRAYER:

Father God, I take time today to praise you in song, dance, or just the simple words in my heart. I thank You for (name some things you are thankful for) In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
