Scripture:

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
(Mark 11:24)

Devotion:

Why? Because faith is necessary to resist everything Jesus bore for us and to take back everything Jesus won for us. Whatever promise God gives us, we first have to receive it spiritually; then, it will manifest physically. Everything in the natural came out of the world of the spirit.

Using our faith has nothing to do with our feelings or five physical senses, which I call “Sense Knowledge Faith.” Real Bible faith comes out of the recreated, born-again spirit or heart. Not one ounce of faith comes out of your head. If Satan can get you over in the sense realm, he’ll whip you every time. Don’t use your body or your circumstances as evidence when standing on God’s promises. Faith is your evidence!

In Mark 11, we see Jesus speaking to an inanimate object, when He commanded a fig tree to never bear fruit again. I remember when I spoke to a car and spoke to my bills—Both times they obeyed me. You can do the same! Speak to your finances to increase, your body to be made whole, or your marriage to be reconciled. Whatever your need is today, speak to it. Then, believe you receive the answer NOW when you prayed—and you will have what you asked!

Prayer:

Lord, I ask you to (name what you need from God) Because Your Word never fails, I believe I receive (name the answer you desire) now. Thank you, God—I have it! It’s mine! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
