SCRIPTURE:

For he knew all about us before we were born and he destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of his Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like him. (Romans 8:29 TPT)

DEVOTIONAL:

As royal governors in the King’s court, our words must match His. We are rulers under the authority of the King of all kings. We are His ambassadors, sent to the earth to deliver His words and declare His realities into existence. In other words, we are people always speaking and acting under the authority of another.

God knows how to direct you. All you have to do is say what He says and follow His instructions. In the Kingdom of God there are no opinions. Things are not up for a vote. We cannot choose the words and outcomes we want based on our whims and desires. Rather, our words must reflect His desires and established purposes. I like to say it this way: Jesus didn’t come to make us comfortable; He came to make us conformable. He wants to conform, or mold, us into His image. We have authority because we are people under authority.

PRAYER:

Dear God,  I praise You for making me an ambassador for Your Son and to bring forth Your plans and purposes in this earth. I determine to speak only Your Word. Instruct me in the way that I should go, and I will follow! In Jesus’ Name, Amen..
