SCRIPTURE:

Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. (Matthew 6:8)

DEVOTIONAL:

Studying our topic this month, the law of confession, brings us into a new understanding of time. We are to be like God, and He lives outside of time. He knows the end from the beginning.

That’s why Jesus said, “Your Father knoweth what things you have need of, before ye ask him” (Matthew6:8). When we pray and speak His Word over our problem, we have confidence knowing He knew what we needed before we even knew we had a problem.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Ephesians 1:3–4

God didn’t say He was going to bless you. He said, “hath blessed.” He knew you would accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and become His child. And, He has already set out the blessings He has planned for your life.

PRAYER:

Dear God, thank you for Your wonderful promise to provide us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. And, I praise You that You know all things I have need of even before I ask. I trust You to work out all things in my life for my good and for Your glory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
